Boulder Police Department
The Boulder Police Department (BPD) supports the SEMS organization mission and integrally works with our SEMS Boulder organization. Through the support of the BPD, SEMS Boulder has been able to influence partnership with many Greek and other student organizations, strengthening the SEMS brand as a peer-to-peer, non-incriminatory solution. BPD has voiced its belief that SEMS creates an atmosphere of responsibility at social events that allows the BPD to monitor social events, rather than methodically shut every one down.
Boulder Valley School District
The Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) began working with the SEMS Foundation Fall 2006. The BVSD has partnered in our effort to develop new high school educations and high school SEMS student organizations. The SEMS Boulder organization is a college-based student organization, now working with its community high schools to influence positive cultural change, provide alcohol and drug overdose awareness, and emergency skills-based training. It is our hope that the SEMS Boulder-BVSD partnership will serve as the model for the development of SEMS organizations in college and high school communities nationwide.
Coors Brewing Company
The Coors Brewing Company has been a partner of the SEMS Foundation since summer 2006. The partnership has funded the SEMS Foundation operations, various fund raising events, and program development, allowing the SEMS Foundation to grow as a start-up organization. In addition, The Coors Brewing Company has forged new relationships for the SEMS Foundation and influenced the expansion of our first new program in Fort Collins at Colorado State University. The Coors Brewing Company's support and faith in the SEMS Foundation mission has been a key factor in our development.
The Daniels Fund
The Daniels Fund has been a partner since summer 2006. The SEMS Foundation provides SEMS pre-freshman education for their scholars through the Daniels Fund SHIFT program. The Daniels Fund has provided the SEMS Foundation with program development and networking opportunities. The Daniels Fund largely influenced our decision to develop the high school market as a part of the SEMS Foundation mission.
